ABOUT ME…

I am a California licensed Architect who has always had a passion for photography. Starting out at age eight with a Kodak Brownie camera, my photographs have encompassed a wide variety of topics including people, architecture, landscape and humor. I hope that in addition to focusing on the aesthetic composition, my photographs will also stimulate both a spiritual and emotional response in the viewer…enjoy!

IN THE BEGINNING, there was a boy with a Brownie, and then a 100 Instamatic camera who went to the Miami Beach Fontainebleau Hotel in 1962 where the Miss Universe Pageant was underway. Far from being a photographer, I nabbed a couple of shots of the ladies. Later, in 1964 and again in 1966, we traveled from Chicago to NYC to see the Worlds Fair and the Empire State Building. Below is my very first contact print, developed and printed in my basement from a roll of 120 film in 1961. After that, I was hooked!
